How do I rent a power bank?

Walk up to an EasyTap station, tap your contactless card or phone, wait for a power bank to be released, then take it with you. The full process is designed to take only a few seconds.

Do I need an app?

No. EasyTap is built around contactless payment at the station. You do not need to download an app to rent a power bank.

Which payment methods are supported?

Supported payment methods may include contactless debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The methods available at each station depend on the payment provider and will be shown on the station.

Is a deposit required?

EasyTap may temporarily reserve an amount on your payment method when you start a rental. This is a pre-authorisation, not a final charge. Once the power bank is returned, the rental cost is calculated and any unused reserved amount is released.

Rental pricing will be shown directly on each EasyTap station before you pay. Prices may vary by location and are not confirmed as a public website tariff yet.

Where can I return the power bank?

Return the power bank by inserting it into an EasyTap station. Where the network allows, you may return it at another EasyTap station — not only the station where you started the rental.

What happens if I return it late?

Rental charges continue until the power bank is returned or the maximum rental period is reached, according to the pricing shown at the station and the Terms & Conditions.

What happens if I don't return it?

If a power bank is not returned within the maximum rental period, the applicable replacement fee and any outstanding rental charges may automatically be charged to the payment method used for the rental. The power bank remains EasyTap property and is not a purchase.

What if the power bank doesn't work?

Return it to a station and try another power bank if one is available. If the issue continues, contact support@easytap.be with the station name, approximate time and a short description of the problem.

What if the station doesn't release a power bank?

Wait a moment and try again. If payment was taken or reserved but no power bank was released, contact support@easytap.be so we can look into it.

Can I return it at another EasyTap station?

Yes, once multiple stations are live, the intention is that you can return a power bank at any EasyTap station in the network. Always follow the instructions shown on the station.
